I have a job coming up for a black explorer. It is covered in water spots. On the estimate I cleaned a small spot with onr QD strength and most of the spots were cleaned but there is still spots. There is also a lot of wash induced scratching. I am wanting to try carpro spotless on it for a good test but also want to polish it to remove scratching. The owner of vehicle has very hard water with lots of sulfur.

My question is this, normally with paint correction I top with 845. Lasts forever and stays clean. But I've not dealt with this hard of water yet. How will 845 do at resisting the hard water spotting/ sulfur? Will the sulfur eat wax off? I also have reload, shoud I top with Reload instead? I'm looking for the best water spot resisting and strength against sulfur without going to a coating.

Yeah it lasts till the end of time. I put on my dinosaur a couple millenia ago and is still going strong

I had this problem when i used to live next to a park they used bore water and it could only be removed by correction. Keeping it waxed slowed down the damage but it couldn't ultimately stop it. I hope its not the same im so glad i moved

if it is similar a opti seal it and see how you go i didn't have access to it when i lived there.

Sounds like it is time to sell the owner some ONR and teach them how to use it.
