Hi if anyone could be of assistance i will be starting a mobile detail in the near future.. i will only be concentrating on the extior of cars no interior's i have but a price list and package together and would like to get some peoples feed back on what i offer and what im charging if this sounds fair im from Australia if that makes a differance.. anyhelp would be appreciated.

I come to you. What is needed on your behalf if you request any service other then the WASH N DRY or the WASH N WAX: power point(electricity), Tap with water and shaded area ie: Car port or workable shed if this is not possible your welcome to bring your car to me.

Whoa no interiors? Seems like people by me mostly care about their interiors being clean. Not to be sexist, but mostly women. I usually end up cleaning up after kids messes as well.
If you have tired this in the past and been successful then I see no problem.
 
Your no interior is a turn off. I'm an autogeeker, but the interior is what gives you that feeling that your car is clean. Imagine an extremely dirty inside and a perfect outside aghhhh!!! You are 100%V of the time inside when driving...

HI thanks for the feed back.. ThirdgenTa so you thing maybe adding a dash board wipe down and door panels wipe down would look a little more appealing?? i was trying to avoid interiors not my cup of tea but i guess if im cleaning the windows and mirrors inside it would only take a couple of minutes to wipe down the panels and centre console. so it would look a little something like this

of coarse my time is worth money no 1 likes to work for free :)
was just thinking of having a low price so it would attract more income while im already out there doing there cars didn't wont to charge to much on top of what was already being offered.. at this point im just trying to build up a client tell and see how it all goes if it takes off all be looking to up my prices on the more premium services and the headlight restoration once i buiild up a reputation (hopefully a good one:xyxthumbs:)

Ya I would also vacuum as well. I hate doing interiors. It seems like I get the real nasty ones too. At least you can avoid doing the little compartments that kids tend to stick gum and lollipops in.
This way you wont have a ton of extra work and it will still appeal to the customer.

Sounds like you are struggling between what you want (your cup of tea) versus what most of your customers want which are clean interiors. Frankly I'm a bit too old to start a business now but if I were I would actually specialize in interiors! A clean exterior will last about two hours (dust will immediately settle) and the car owner I guarantee you wants the cleanest part of the car to be where they spend their time. Just my 2 cents.
