Hi everyone! Like a few others on the site lately I'm venturing out to start a small local detailing business. So, to start, I'm keeping the pricing structure very simple. And with the cold out right now I will be focusing mainly on doing interiors. My target audience right now is the "busy moms" and their filthy kid-mobiles here in the area. We have a lot of families around here who don't have time to take care of this themselves. Anyway, below is my very simple structure with the addition of "Add-on" services that I'll be able to provide after looking the interior over. Critique and feedback are welcome. Thanks!

Interior Detail

-Vacuum interior to remove large particles of salt, dirt, and other debris.

-Wipe down all hard plastic, vinyl, and leather surfaces to remove dust, dirt, and stubborn grime with a professional interior cleaner.

-Apply a premium water-based dressing to plastics and vinyl to restore luster and provide UV protection.

-Mild spot cleaning.

-All windows cleaned and spot free to restore clarity.

Car @ $35.00

Truck / SUV @ $40.00

Large Minivan / Cargo Van @ $45.00


Additional Services Provided

Child seats cleaned and sanitized with steam.
Price: $5.00/ea

Clean exterior side of all windows.
Price: $5.00


Floor mats professionally shampooed with hot water extraction.
Price: $10.00 (includes set of four mats)

Professionally clean hard surfaces with high-heat steam to sanitize and disinfect. (This will replace the second step of applying the cleaner)
Price: $20.00

Full professional carpet and upholstery shampoo with hot water extraction.* (This includes all carpet, seats, and doors, if applicable)

Cars starting at $89.00

Trucks / SUVs starting at $99.00

Large Minivans and Cargo Vans starting at $109.00



*An additional $15.00 charge will be assessed for excessively dirty vehicles.

These are the services I offer for interiors:
- Basic Vac n Wipe- vacuum, clean windows, lightly wipe down interior panels.. upsell interior spot cleaning (this is primarily for well kept vehicles)
- Leather cleaning- vacuum, clean windows, interior panels are completely cleaned/dressed, leather seats fully cleaned.. upsell leather coating
- Top to Bottom Cleaning- The interior is brought to it's maximum potential, making sure every inch of fabric, leather, plastic/vinyl is cleaned and dressed... upsell fabric protectant/leather coating

-spot cleaning
add ons:
-leather coating
-fabric protectant

what machines do you have? how long do you plan the job to take? how much do you want to make an hour?

I will have a Mytee Lite II next week and a McCulloch steamer along with my Ridgid shop vac. I'll probably pick up Pinnacle's interior kit which has everything I need. I'm looking to make abut 30-35 an hour. Which is why I have the base price for the basic interior plus they can add on other services that will essentially break down to 30-35 an hour as it will take more time to complete. I figure for a complete interior detail top to bottom will take between 3-5 hours depending on the size of the vehicle.
