I put wheel armor on half a wheel on one see if that one looks different.
Just added all clean and happy. Will report back in a week.

Oh man I may have to get a bottle of this with my next order, the brake dust is horrible on my truck, especially the front wheels. Usually within 1 drive to work the fronts have quite a bit of brake dust on them, less than the factory pads had but still quite a bit...

Ok guys. So here we go. 1 week went by. Results are pretty good. It wont be a cure for your dusting problems but it definitely helps. Check these pics out and decide for yourselfs. I tried to just rinse with a hose and a nozzle, but that yielded poor results. So I brought out the pressure washer and this is what I got.

1 week of driving looking ok. Dirty but not as dirty as the 1 1/2 weeks to 2 weeks last time.

Overall I like it. I think maybe I used too little product. I also have the poorboys wheel sealant I want to try and compare to this one. And if any one wants to share some of the DP I wouldnt mind comparing that one too. =) These white wheels are a magnet for dusting. Hope this helps someone.

Honestly, after doing my final review of this product....Powerlock applied with two coats works better....no need to buy a separate wheel sealant. I've learned the hard way...companies marketing skills are getting better and better.

Better at what? Creating a specific product for a specific need? I'm not sure how applying two coats of another product make it better. Seems to me that if it takes two coats to be better, then that make it not better. Hmmm.

Wheel Armour is hardly marketing. It is a hard core sealant that makes brake dust removal soap and water easy. Period. I have plenty of customers who swear by it for daily drivers and even track days. It won't make brake dust magically not stick to wheels. I simply makes removal easier. It isn't that difficult to understand. This product has been tried and tested for more than five years. It's solid, and it delivers for a minimum of six months...in one coat.

A little agitated maybe lol. Nick, I didn't meant to offend you in anyway.. in simpler terms I didn't say the product didn't work because it did, but what I meant is it is not necessary to have tons of difference products in your arsenal that essentially do the same thing. Wheel Armour works, I know this, but Powerlock essentially does the same thing on a painted surface.....I've tested both products, and all I am saying is they yielded very similar results....IMO powerlock beaded water better.

+1

I dont think I applied this very well as I was rushing it but with just one light coat, it made a world of difference in removing the brake dust. And I didnt even soap it up just watered it off. I think it definitely beats the having to clean, polish and the seal of some products as this is essentially all the steps in one. I now put the poorboys wheel sealant on to try that out but I did 3 good coats so far so good.

Wheel armor is a fantastic product.

I thought this OP did a great job in writing a great review of the product. I dont think anyone should sweat the fact that he added months later that he was able to produce similar results with a product that cost 3 times as much.

The reality is that Wheel armor is cheap, super easy to use, wipe on wipe off, has cleaners in it (cause we know most poeple neglect there wheels and never clay them), and is easier to use than any other similar product. DP and Poorboys are a pain to work with. and poorboys is a finishing sealant with no cleaners. Both are more expensive as well.

I think the OP wrote a great review. I also think this is a great product.

well, i just had a chance to use prima wheel armour last night. Should have take some pictures but then again you couldn't tell the difference from the pic anyway. The reasons is i keep my chrome wheels very clean and don't have brake dust problem. I wanted to try prima because this will help me keep my wheel clean :) Anyway, i usually use BLACKFIRE Crystal Seal Paint Sealant and it works fantastic. The last time i used it was last week. It beads the water pretty well, feel very smooth to the touch.
Anyway, PWA is easy to apply and easy to buff off. I did and 50/50 on one wheel and can tell the difference between smoothness and shine. I like it. Will have to wait to see water beading.
There is one little thing that kinda annoy me about this product. Maybe it's an isolate incident. When i first popped the cap open, i kinda expect it to have a seal but no seal noted. Second, WTF going on w/ giving me 3/4 of the bottle. Did it spill during shipping? Maybe but i didn't see any mess in the shipping box. Hmmm, did they pour some out to prevent spillage? Or did Nick at AG grabbed my bottle and did a couple sets of wheel? j/k Nick :)
The OP stated that he could probably do 20-30 set of wheel on one bottle. Hmmm, I wonder how many ml he used per wheel. I used about ~5ml/wheel=20m/set (i have 22" wheels) so 8oz=236ml...so maybe i can do 12x, but mine didn't have 8oz in them hmmmm

Anyway, i like the product because it's 1/2 the price compare to Blackfire. But you have to do 2x the work:) hmmm time is $ or time=beer time for me :) oh, i did have a cold one during this application

Yikes! That isn't supposed to happen. Those are hand poured and it sounds like someone goofed. I'll PM you for your address and get you a full bottle.

Thanks Nick, that's awesome. It rains cat and dog in GA today and i'll try to take some pictures to see how Prima compare to BF

The beading is nice. The prima is a couple days old on the wheel. I guess the beading is a bonus since prima is more for brake dust prevention???? hmmm. So far i like what i see.

Thanks Nick. Got a replacement bottle from you today. That's awesome customer service right there. Now i can apply Prima as much as i want :)

Glad it made it safely. Hey, a bottle is easy to replace, a customer is not.
