Principles of Machine Polishing CD Playback Speed too Fast

I'm watching the cd and the videos are sped up faster than normal time such that Mike's dialog is too rapid and strained. He's not quite speaking at chipmunk speed, but the video looks not real from this issue.
 
This is weird, I was playing it on PowerDVD, and then switched to Windows Media player and the speed is fine. I usually watch movies on PowerDVD, and have no issues, so something is amiss here.
 
Hey, I just closed Media Player and retried PowerDVD and it is fine now. Sorry for the post, somehow I got some fluke in PowerDVD.
 
Hmm, but I do have a complaint, it looks like the DVD only has a short lesson on PC polishing that is available online. I was expecting a lot more content otherwise I would not have purchased it.
