We were asked to carry out a detail on this 2005 TVR T350t in a rare colour blend (from Lamborghini) and individually spec to be only 1 of these ever made. The car was well looked after by the owner and with the colour many defects were hidden in certain lighting. But the owner wanted the paintwork restored to its best and protected, also the alloys and the engine bay. When the car turned up we started by removing the bonnet, carbon fibre pods and the rear defuser:

I started with the interior due to when time the car turned up (late afternoon). The interior was initially steam cleaned, then the leather was cleaned with Dodo Juice SN Leather Cleaner and protected with the SN Leather Sealant. The interior was were removed and shampoo hoovered:

The backs of the seats were not looking their best, looking very flat

So machine polished these with the DA and Microfibre system with fantastic results:

I then moved onto the engine bay. This was also steam cleaned. The chrome within the bay was machine polished as the owner had previously attempted to hand polish it without great results:

50/50:

End results:

The onto the engine itself, being painted and overtime the paint again looked a little faded and flat, so this was machine polished as well:

Next was the exhaust. With the rear defuser is made it much easier to work on. the back box and tail pipes and insde the pipes were all machine polished:

The onto the paintwork itself....this was a little more of a challenge, as the car shell is fully made of fibreglass it created its own challenges compared to conventional painted metal. The shell was washed with a waterless wash then retarred with Dodo Juice Tarmalade and clayed. Under better lighting the swirls in the paint were easily seen:

The paintwork was corrected using Rupes (machine/compounds/pads) and DA with Megs Microfibre pads/compound to more restricted areas and light clusters/rear spoiler. First time using the Bigfoot and i was very much impressed with the system. The results were fantastic:

Next was the alloy wheels. These were removed, machine polished and protected with Swissvax Autobahn and the tyres were teared to a semi permanent tyre sealant:

All exterior paintwork was protected with Swissvax Shield and left to cure over night. Next day this was buffed up and the exterior glass was cleaned then protected with Gtechniq G1, the exterior trim was treated to Dodo Juice Fantastic Plastic and rubbers to Swissvax Seal Feed. Then a second coat of Swissvax Shield was applied.
