Not at all. Even with the MF system a lot of times foam is still needed to finish decent at all. Just another tool in the arsenal

While correct, D300 on their cutting disk has finished down LSP MANY times for me. There is a huge learning curve with the speed you're moving the polisher, work time of the product, how much product is being used, pressure, etc.
My first few times using it were very "easy" but it didn't finish down very well. It doesn't work that way with all finishes, but more often than not, it can be LSP ready. Now I'm not saying you couldn't gloss the finish even further with foam and maybe M205 or something along those lines after D300 but it was near that level already... but you get my point I hope.
