I have been trying to upload some photos and its not working. I get no error of any kind and when I submit it goes through except I don't get to the second page where you can title the image. Just simply skips this step and says my image has been uploaded, but it does not show up in my member gallery. Anyone else have this issue and know a fix for it?

I see your photos in the "members" gallery. Maybe you should have put them in an album.

I noticed this as well,:bash: opps. I'll do that on my subsequent uploads, I'll give it a try uploading into an album.

Created the album, and retried and same problem must be something with the pictures themselves. Says its uploaded but when I go to the gallery it says no pictures are in there.

Those are working fine its some other pictures that are giving me issues, but sure PM away, maybe I'm missing something in the steps here.

I had a bookmark saved on a step by step procedure that I "pm" walked a hand through. But I can't find it.

PM sent.

Your image is too big. It won't show up.

Make it 800 pixels wide (or 1024 if you must) and it will upload without a problem. The normal forum width is 800 pixels anyway, so a bigger image just gets chopped to that size in order to display it.

You can upload somewhat wider than that, but it makes the forum page react to your larger image.

Not sure exactly what the number is, but you'll also find Mike Phillips recommending the same thing.

Here's a post that I did about photos. It's a sticky at the top of the Tips, Techniques and How-to Articles for Interacting on Discussion Forums

Post #4 in the thread has the relevant information.

I missed this thread due to the fact that I was riding a Greyhound bus that day (32 hrs total).
Exactly the issue.
Cool thread BTW hand:props:

Thanks Jim, Vegas and I got to the bottom of it and it was a resizing issue. Sometimes I'm a moron and I'm ok with this.
