Problems with waxing

Make sure the panel is 100% clean, make sure you give it proper curing time, I've seen some of my applications go hay-wire because the humidity messed with my curing time. Let it stay on a bit longer than usual and make sure it doesn't get wet for at least a afternoon or day.

Also you can try a different wax/sealant on a adjacent panel to see if that makes a big difference.

I agree. Curing time also affects durability of waxes. :iagree:
 
I won't be able to try anything new for a while. I am a college student away from home and don't have access to any of my washing supplies. I will be going home this weekend and I will try to clay and rewax the lower portions of the car again.

I want to try OC 2.0 in the spring. I don't have a buffer to make my car look perfect before I put on OC, but I am willing to work by hand with Meguiars Ultimate Compound to make it better than it is. I had good results with my dad's hood with the UC.
