Hey fellas.

Finally working on my 05 Acura TL. Car was jacked up by the dealer. Swirls and marring all along the side of the car. Went after it with XMT 3 and Orange pad. Got the marks out nicely. The hood looks like it needs a little more work small scratches left. Hopefully next step will take them out.

Next I plan XMT 2 with White pad.

So my question is the steps after. Should I use an AIO (i've got Klasse and DG501) to the clean the paint?

Or can I just go straight to the polishing step? Planning on using DG501 , DG601 , TPP 105 combo.

You can either do a 50/50 alcohol/water wipe-down and then apply your wax, or use Klasse AIO and then wax or sealant. DG501 can also be used by itself without the alcohol wipe-down.

Raining in Dallas may be a few days.

It's kinda sad all that work and within 18 hours of being finished it's in the rain. But I had to smile when a single drop of water hit the car....beaded....and rolled off the hood without the car moving.....Awesome:righton:
