Product for cleaning windows?

This is what I use. Works great with any MF towel. I can find it in lots of stores locally for around $2 a can.

I've found Sprayway fairly comparable to Stoner's Invisible Glass, both do a good job and are easily gotten.

About the only bad thing I can mention about either brand of the aerosol cans is applying directly to glass can be a somewhat "foamy" mess, going where you don't want it, and like others have suggested, it's better to turn away from the vehicle, and apply directly to a towel.

Sometimes I'll pre-clean outer glass with a dampened soft towel first, then use the glass cleaners after.

I agree with the Meg's for full time Detailers or Stoners for part timers. I have both. Also remember to give your glass a good claying and/or polishing every now and then. Really makes a difference.

Has anyone tried the Glass cleaning concentrate from a place like Lowes or Home Depot? It's ammonia free, just wondering how it works compared to meguiars as it's much cheaper.

Hi,
I believe the product you are referring to, is called Unger Pro. I bought a qt of this concentrate about a year ago from Home Depot, when I first saw this product mentioned under "cheap finds".

I mix it with a gallon of distilled water for better shelf life stability, and have on occasion used it on the vehicles, but usually use it when I'm cleaning the house windows, as it is dirt cheap.

It works fine for my needs, but IMO not as good as others like Sprayway, or Stoners. It will probably take me 10 years to go through the qt of concentrate! LOL
