The Universal Dispenser Pump has bad reviews across the board, both in the store and on the forums.
But all of these experiences seem to be a couple years old now; products/vendors can change, and batches can vary.

So has anyone tried these pumps recently?
What was your experience? Do they still leak?

And if they are bad, does anyone know of a good alternative pump?

If not, I'll be getting a few of the Pro Blend Bottle Proportioners, but I would prefer a pump.
Edit: Or maybe I won't. these things have just as bad of reviews haha.

Thanks!

Cant really help, but i have one for years without issue. Use it for the gallon car wash soaps.

The only thing i noticed, is maybe a few drops out the tip after use. No big deal to me. The unit as a whole is solid.

I ordered the pumps from Uline. Cheaper, 1oz per pump and they come with a heavier duty spring. Every pump I have (from multiple different vendors) leaks a few drops. That's just normal for these style dispensers.

I picked a pump up from ebay recently for dispensing car soap from gallon containers. It seems fine, no drips, but it doesn't lock down when not in use so it can be cumbersome to store. The pump Chemical Guys sell does lock down and has 2 positive review on their site. But as is the case with all of Chemical Guys stuff they'll only post good reviews and suppress negative ones from appearing.

Still bad, ordered 3 recently and found the same issue they keep leaking drops until you cover the tip with something to stop it..

I use it for car soap and haven't had a problem. Been using it for over a year with no leaks
