Product recommendation for production detailing

Flex 3401 REALLY THAT GOOD??? especially for production I gathered from here.. long throws out of the picture?

Gotcha, I'm paying $40 a gallon for Speed. For me it is worth the $6 difference.

Yes, I prefer Speed. Seems to have a deeper cut and the great wet look HD Poxy provides.

I'd like to second that and add that Speed is wayy easier to use. I leave it on the entire vehicle until I'm finished applying then remove all the product at once. D151 tends to stick to the paint like glue if you don't remove it immediately.
 
da polisher or forced rotation?

A: both. I prefer my boss g21 tho easier to use thru a whole correction

• polishing creams compounds/polish?

A: Compound: Fg-400, Boss fast correcting cream. boss correcting cream. Hd cut

Polish: sf3500 sf3800. Pf2500. Hd polish. Perfecting cream boss.

• wax
A: menzerna power lock. Fuzion. Butter wet wax (its durabilty sucks but my god it shines up a storm)

• AIO
Hd speed. Menzerna 3in1

• brushes?

• wheel cleaners
I run a shop its not economical to use sonax wheel cleaner. Im trying to make money. I use the 5 gal purple zep degreaser from home depot 36$ gets the job done

• dressing
CarPro Perl. Optimum opti bond. Chemical guys silk shine.

• wash soap/ rinse less
3d wash n wax. Mr pink cg. Optimum no rinse for rinseless

• decontamination
Clay bar. Nanoskin sponges

Depending on how production you want to get... I use the same Acid (Step 1) and Degreaser (Step 2) pressure washing companies use for truck washing. Works awesome, I rarely have to touch wheels :xyxthumbs:

Suppose I got the Flex 3401.. I recommended to you with buff and shine pads. What color pad would cut well with speed??

I am assuming since Speed is a product of Hd polish and Hd poxy, then it can only cut so much, but still what pad suggestions for speed...

I think I am convinced to get a Flex, here's another question, should I wait for the new xce??

Is Sonax product too excessive as far has having it for production?

What about Wolfgang line for production?

Most likely I will stick to the 3D/ HD LINE

I know people mix and match,

But anybody have a whole line they prefer for the most part???

I have used Poxy with much success..

What other sealants people use that are heat/sun friendly that doesn't take hours to cure?

With the Flex I prefer to stick with the LC Hybrid line, specifically the orange and white pads when doing an AIO such as Speed.

The 3401 is a great machine, the only difference I noticed at SEMA was ergonomics and the volume of the machine was quieter.

Sonax is not for production detailing IMO, but depends on what your goal is.

Wolfgang is pretty spendy for production as well. I stick with the Menzerna line (FG400 for initial cutting, or even SC300 for deep scratches) but even their stuff is about double the cost of most production products. Honestly I would stick with 3D if you are targeting production work. Also I'd get a rotary for heavy cutting work.
