Hey Mike i am going to be working on my three cars, and I want to make sure i get the right products. Appreciate any help!
Car #1: Black 2005 Lexus LS 470
This SUV has never had any sort of correction done to it. As you can imagine, tons of scratches, swirls, etc. This is going to be my test vehicle, so if anything goes wrong I won't shoot myself.
Car #2: White 2015 Porsche GT3
When I bought this car from a high end detailer (not in my area). He told me he clay bar'd, followed by a 2-step orbital (105 then 66), followed by Zymol. When the car arrived the paint was amazing. So I want to get back to that, if possible. The paint right now is excellent. I just want to dial it in for the new season.
Car #3: White 2016 BMW 550i
The paint is new and I have clayed it once. But I want to dial it in like my GT3 was. The shadowline. Dear god that is tough. Spent two days (about 10 applications with ScratchX) and the scratch on the door is almost gone. Did it by hand. So whatever i do to the GT3 I ultimately want to do to the wife's BMW.
The plan is to start with the LX, since i can live with making a mistake on it. No such option with the other two cars.
What do you recommend that I purchase to tackle all three jobs?
Thanks for the help!
Rob
