I got a chance to try this stuff out today on a white 2009 A4. For a white car it was pretty swirled out. The owner of the car bought it used and wanted to get a 1-step correction done to the vehicle. Since the polishing and sealing was to be done in one step I went with the D151 over XMT360 because I needed alot more cut. I used the product with the GG DA and 5.5'' flat LC orange pad. I was very surprised with the results. It got rids of all the light and medium swirls and only left the deep ones behind. It corrected about 80% of the defects in the paint. I was quite happy with this product. It has become my go to product for 1-steppers now :)

I'm also looking into trying this out.

Bite the bullet and do it, you wont be sorry. I often reach for it if a client only wants a one step or if Im doing a turnin that just needs to be clean, it is perfect. It is quick, easy, and easy to work with.
Nice review sully.

To be honest, it was supposed to be on my order last thursday. But, i'm trying to cut on expenses. Will surely get it on my next order with some new waxes i want to try. Thank you for the assurance. :)

I've been very happy with both XMT 360 and PB's PwS, but I gotta try out D151 too! It has more cut, but does it still finish as nice? You think it would take care of light compounding marks, like after Menz PG or to take place of 205 in the 105/205 combo?

205 is meguiar's least aggressive SMAT compound. 151 is a little bit more aggressive than 205. Swirlx is in the middle of the two.

Great review.
How's working time on D151?

Work time is great. I love D151. I'm always impressed with what it can do - headlights, tail lights, bug deflectors, mild waterspotting on windows, etc. I've seen smooth black plastic side mirrors polished to perfection with it, too. D151 is awesome.

thanks sully for the review. i have it but havent used it yet. ive one-stepped my mom's car with Menz 203 and loved what it did for minor stuff as well as the water spots.

Great review. Just one question...do you think this would finish down nicely if I use an orange CCS pad with the flex 3401? Or would I have to use a white pad?

Thanks for the review :)
I'm getting some D151 for my first polish along with P085RD to follow it up. Using a GG ROP and LC HT and Flat pads

I have used that exact combo and it finishes quite well

The 151 has wax. ( I used it and it works well) You will need to wax again after the PO85RD. Now you will have a 3 step instead of a 1 step unless I'm missing something.

151 with the KBM is awesome. Works great and finishes down surprisingly well with an Oranage Flat LC Pad

How does the work time and cut compare to Poli-seal?

Poli-seal has been my go to one stepper for a long time and I use it in the very same manner.

The D151 has a wax built into it?

Yes, D151 is a swirl remover, polish, and wax all in one (AIO).

I did not even think about that...odd. I'm assuming I can just use it then follow up with my Natty's Blue or DP Poli Coat?

Some of the cars I have only have minor swirls..while others have heavier. Can I just change the pad out and use D151?

I've found XMT 360 to give an excellent base for sealant/wax, I don't doubt that D151 would be OK to top with sealant/wax as well. I let it cure a while before topping, even if it doesn't have an "official" cure time.

Something to keep in mind. D151 doesn't play nice with certain waxes and sealants. I tried it with Fuzion and PB's Natty blue and it streaked like crazy. I have heard that M16 does play well with D151. I am dying to try the combo out to see what the durability is on that combo.
