I haven't used this product in a long time but remember being amazed by it. So when I noticed I had to rust and nasty stuff to tend to on the wheels I brought home a jar of this stuff. And as memory served me correctly, its AMAZING! Crazy thing is I just looked on the site and a jar is less then $6 !
I HIGHLY recommend it, I did all four wheels and had so much fun did the bumpers and the running bars and you could not even tell I took any out of the jar! A must in your detailing arsenal!
This Chevy is a 1999 and the wheels are aftermarket but have been on this beast for a long time, so I wasn't expecting much but I am very please with the results.

Use Nevr Dull on all metals; brass, copper, steel, pewter, chrome – even silver and gold! This is a “best value” product by any standard for its performance and affordability. Not to mention its ease of use. Using wadding is less messy than traditional polish, and you can adjust the amount of wadding you use to tailor fit your specific polishing job. Simply tear off a piece of the wadding - whatever size you need - a little goes a long way. Rub the wadding directly onto the metal and then use a clean, lint free cloth to wipe away the residue. You’ll be amazed at the intense shine you can achieve with Nevr-Dull.

I have a can of that in my arsenal. I have tried it on various chrome and stainless pieces and stuff, but was not able to get results like that, so I leave it on the shelf until I need it for bare/uncoated metal.

For polished rims or any other bare polished metal, this stuff is amazing! Like I said above, it sits on the shelf until I run across something that I need it for, but when I need it, I am SOOO glad I have it!

It's is great stuff. I have to ask my wife where my tin is because she is always taking it from me.

Love this stuff, but I do get a little light headed after using it for a while. The smell is intense.

I've got some that is probably 10+ years old. Crazy thing is it still seems to work good.

Nice job Meghan. What is that applicator you are using?

Nevr Dull Wadding Polish

Megan does it work on aluminum?

Thanks,
Derrick

It will work well on aluminum. I had my frame polished on an R6 back in '99, and this was the recommended product for maintaining it. It looked new everytime. It is it's own applicator...;)

One of the best products i have ever used and a heck of alot cheaper than many other metal polishes on the market. Amazing product always worth a try.

I still use it on Exhaust Tips when in a pinch for time, as it quick. I prefer some metal polishes on uncoated aluminum wheels personally but it is a nice product and in the sealed can lasts a lifetime too.

I used to use this stuff all the time for the aluminum on my snowmobiles. It was hard to find, so I'd buy it by the case when I did find it. (This was probably 20 years ago!)

I think I still have 4-5 cans on the shelf that look like this.....

What is odd, is that it seemed to work the best when the wad was getting black and nasty. A little bit really goes a long ways, too.

Yes a little goes a long way, you do not have a applicator use just pull off a piece of the wadding polish, it is the applicator and polish all in one.

Agreed. Awesome product. I first used it some 15 years ago and laughed at the person when they told me it cleaned metal well. Needless to say they had the last laugh.

My go-to product for exhaust tips. Does an awesome job and I don't have to clean any applicators!

Bump for question: Is it clear coat (wheels) safe?

If your wheels are clear coated then I think using a paint polish like you do on the rest of the car would be a better route to go. Basically your wheel has paint (clear coat) on it so you don't want to use a metal polish since you're not polishing metal.

I like this product too and have been using it for 30 years. I used it on my bicycles as a little kid. Around here you can find it anywhere, wally world, Kmart, sears, any auto parts store etc. Just the other day I looked at a can and it was around $4 at Ace hardware.

Never dull is worthless on clear coated metal, IMO. It does a good job on uncoated metal.
