Here's my review. I just used it on my 2013 Harley Davidson FXDB with factory black denim paint. I've only ever used the Harley denim cleaner on the paint, so I'm pretty familiar on how a matte finish cleaner should work. To save time I also use it on the painted/powder coated surfaces and the little chrome that the bike has on it.
Matte Finish Detal Spray Pros:
-Excellent cleaning power. Like really good...way better than the harley stuff. Cuts thru bugs effortlessly, even on the painted surfaces.
-Leaves nothing behind but a clean surface. All the paint was left with a nice matte, smooth surface with no added shine.
-Works on all surfaces. This stuff made quick work on all the bugs that were on my fork lowers, handle bars, mirrors and also cleaned up the wheels nicely.
-Did I mention the excellent cleaning ability?
Cons:
-A little streaky. Using a two towel method helps, but it doesn't "evaporate" off the paint like the harley branded stuff does. You really have to go over it a couple of times with a dry towel to get it to disappear. With the harley stuff I can spray it on, wipe it with one towel, flip the towel and give it another quick wipe then the left over wet streaks will disappear rather quickly. This spray will kind of do the same thing except it does't seem to want to evaporate as quickly, and if you don't wipe it down enough it'll want to streak a little bit. Another dry towel will knock down any streaks.

There was no really effort required to get the bugs off the painted surfaces. I've used other detail sprays before on the non matte parts of this bike before and this detail spray cut the bugs better than any of them. I'll deff keep using this as my "total" bike cleaner because it works so well on all the different surfaces of the bike. Prob could use a minor tweak, but it's still pretty good as is.
