I've been reading on here for a while. Used a PC for about a year. I recently moved and no longer have access to a garage to detail in. I'll be doing my work in the sun from now on. I'm drawn to poorboys more and more due to the fact that it says it works just as good in the sun, as in shade. Any other products that are ok to use in sunlight ? I suspect that Justin will chime in with good info, due to the mobil detailing.

I'm starting a mobile detailing business this year, and have most of my products bought and chosen. All of which are supposed to work well in the sun. I have the full XMT line-up, and Optimum's compound. DP's vision glass cleaner is supposed to work well in the sun as well.
AW works well in the sun along with DG's 105 for a sealant and PB's Natty's blue for a carnauba. I believe DP's Max Wax is supposed to work well in the sun as well.

Check out the XMT line on the AG site. XMT was formulated to be used in sun. Expect a lot of responses that say XMT and Poorboy's.

Poorboys line has been tested and approved for sun use. Never found it to be untrue. If you use another product and see some streaking, a light damp towel usually does the trick !

Yea I hear PB work in the sun well, Optimum i would say works well becasue they dont seem to dry up

I used XMT all summer long and loved it. Max Wax too. I did alot of black vehicles and they never let me down.

DP's Krystal Vision is awesome for cleaning glass. Sunlight and heat have no effect on it like other glas cleaners.

XMT and Poorboy's. I've used both in blazing hot South Florida sun and both worked like champions. :) The XMT dusts less though. :)

I did some research and most people say that XMT dust less, which is a plus. The price seems a little cheaper on poorboys. Six in one hand and half a dozen in the other it appears.

Optimum makes good polishes as well. Little dusting, and more product for the money.

Another vote for XMT, and Poorboy's.

Bottom line, you can't go wrong with any of them!

I started with the XMT line-up. Works great but I needed something a little stronger than #3. I bought some Optimum Compound and this stuff was AWESOME. Worked like a champ on deep scratches in my Stang. I have my entire line-up now.

Well it will be xmt or poorboys. The fact that some people say xmt dust less is a plus. I'll ponder on this for a few days than order.
