What are everyones thoughts on this?

I ordered around $280 of product from autogeek during the new years 15% off sale. This includes some pinnacle souveran paste wax, a pinnacle kit with wash and detailer spray, a wolfgang kit with the 3.0 sealant and car wash and detail spray, and some pinnacle spray wax and meguiars apc+.

Now the temps here have been in the single digits and teens, and the product is scheduled to arrive on thursday. I am betting this will be exposed to some cold temps during it's journey here, not to mention sitting on my doorstep for a few hours before I can get home.

Will this prolonged exposure to the cold cause any problems for me?

Keep your fingers crossed. Any liquids would be suspect. If products look like they are seperated, shake them vigorusly. Squeeze some out and if the product looks like cottage cheese, it is damaged and will not mix togeather properly. Had this happen to me last winter. Would be nice to have labeling with warnings on them, keep from freezing. Good luck.:dunno:

I live in Michigan and I just recently received my BOGO order of the 128 oz. DPRWG. I was here when the UPS guy put it at my door so it didn't sit out side for any amount of time. However, when I opened up the package the jugs were VERY cold, but not even close to freezing. This is one of the reasons that I make sure there is somebody here to get the package during winter months if I am not able to be here.

I would try to have a neighbor or something watch for the box and pick it up for you after the UPS truck leaves, this way you will not have any problems.

I can get the ups truck to leave them at my wife's work most likely. So I shouldn't worry about the actual transit time?

Depending on where you live, I wouldn't worry about it at all. Living in Mid Michigan, I have no worries :xyxthumbs:

I live in southern MO.
Don't even worry about it. I live in New England and I've ordered products during the winter many, many, many times. Where I live is MUCH colder than where you live and I've never unpacked a shipment and found a frozen bottle.

I just got my order from autogeek and it was in the teens all day,got home at 5pm and everything was okay , very cold but okay:xyxthumbs:

One thing I try to do is have my orders ship at the end of the week. That way, they spend the week-end in a truck in a warmer climate.
They deliver during the following week so they don't spend a lot of time in frigid temps.

Let them stabalize in inside temps for a few days above 50 degrees then shake liquid products to mix any separation. You should be fine with those products listed.

I worry more about the ole shipping yard playing soccer with my packages. Maybe the shipping peanuts will also protect from freezing ??

u would need to be in subzero enviroments...plus the products have chemicals. someone made a good point of letting products sit indoor and stabilize

I recieved a bottle of Menzerna a few weeks ago and when I got it is it was frozen like heavy slush. After it thawed, I shook it vigorously and everything seems ok; but I don't want to order anything else until it warms up or we find away to ensure that polishes, liquids don't freeze.

I got my order late Yesterday. UPS didn't even ring the bell. I checked my e-mail and saw them delivered it 4 hours ago. It was 15F outside. Funny thing was, I was home all day. Stuff froze a little, but things are fine. It was only Megs APC, MF cleaner and clay lube. I guess UPS doesn't ring doorbells anymore. This is the 3rd time they haven't done it.
