Hi guys, I'm looking for a product for my exterior trim, mainly the plastic (middle part in the first photo) and rubber/vinyl trim at the window sills. Speaking of which, does anyone know whether it's rubber or vinyl? (sorry noob question). Would prob narrow down my options if I know what material im dealing with.

Any recommendations?

I've read some good things about black wow but am I mistaken in saying that's only for plastic?

Wolfgang trim sealant, I'm getting roughly 6 months per application. Zero run off after a heavy rain shower as well. Best part is you use very very little of it so the small bottle would last years for personal use.

ANOTHER one that is not available in Australia!!

Can anyone tell me what material this is? View attachment 32543

Between the window and metal. Is it vinyl or rubber?

Is it true that products for use with plastic can be used for vinyl as well?

:iagree:

I've come across black wow (not sure if you can use on vinyl/rubber), swissvax protecton, carpro perl to name a few

How about Ultima products are they available there? If so Ultima Tire and Trim Guard would be a good option.

I just started using Ultima Tire & Trim Guard +, & I'm very impressed with it.

Also there are some recent posts in a thread started by Mike Phillips. Don't know how to link a thread to a post from AG iPhone app.

Thanks for all the tips guys. I've come across Dodo Juice Supernatural Trim Sealant and duragloss rubber and bumper trim dressing. Gonna look into these options. anyone have any experience with these?

I've heard the Blackfire and the Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant are your 2 sure bets. I have the Wolfgang one for my Trim& Moldings and I am VERY happy with it!

I think this one may be available for you, Auto Finesse Revive trim. Believe it or not I try on some carbon fiber parts on a BMW that were white and came out really good, also on the door trims and after a couple weeks still looking like new!!!

Ultima tire and trim guard is the best I have used but if that is not available meguiars ultimate protectant/ultimate black is good but not as durable. I find the trick to getting the best durability is to apply in thin coats (I use two coats) and be sure to remove any excess afterwards.

I've never used black wow, sorry.
