I need recommendations for local detailers in the Lansing, MI area. I have some stubborn water or wax spots on my finish that I have been unable to remove by hand following the advice shared in other posts. It's time to get a professionals help.

Typically there are three types of water spots. Type one generally on the surface of the paint, type II, minerals have started to etch into the clear.

What products do you currently own? What have you attempted by hand? What products have you tried?

IMO, I would make a small investment, first in time to do some reading and You-Tube'ing of Mike Phillips Videos. Then a second investment of getting yourself a starter kit of a machine polisher, pads and some product. Learn about performing test spots and see if you paint correct the surface yourself first.

If you absolutely don't feel comfortable in doing this, then there are several AGO members in your area, off the top of my head I can't remember where everyone lives, however, David Fermani (formally with 3D Professional Products) is about 1 1/2 hours from you. Sportiva Auto Salon
