I finally got permission to share with you all a project that I have been enlisted in. Believe it or not, this has been pretty much top-secret.

Pioneer has chosen 10 car audio install companies to build 10 show vehicles for them. They will be featured in magazines, brochures and shows. This one is being built by Sound Sensation in Marietta GA. I have been hired to detail this car inside and out. This is a big honor for me. I will be attending it's first showing at a competition in Arizona in early April. This will be a Pinnacle-only detail. Last week I came down to evaluate the car but quickly went to work cleaning all interior panels and trim. I will not go back until the car is back together and then I will start on all the paint correction.

Here are some spy photos of the largest detail of my life!

Ok. A self-portrait at 6:30AM on a 1.5 hour trip. Red Bull is not kick'n in yet!

1999 Mercedes CLK440. Pretty dirty since it was the shop's owners daily driver.

Some pics of the install. That's 4000.00 plus in just Dynamat sound deadening material.

Subwoofer enclosure. It will incorporate a motorized port for sound quality and SPL (loudness).

This is the trunk's amplifier rack. There will five in all. The holes are for 4" fans to help keep them cool while under stress.

This is all the interiors pieces waiting for me to clean.

I had to clean, treat, and bag each piece. I will have to clean again once in the car. This is how the owner wanted it.

This will be an ongoing project. I will upload more pics and details as I can.

Thanks to all!

Congrats on getting such a prestigous detail job. I know you'll do up right.

Dude what a project, that is insane....this will take some serious detaling.

That car is going to be a sweet ride, the owner is going to spend some serious coin.

Looking forward to the write up and the pictures to follow, thanks for sharing.

Wow thats a great honor... You are just the right man for the job your work inspires me!

Congratulations, Justin!!:applause: You're moving up FAST!! Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
Always enjoy reading your well-written reviews! Very informative!!

I was able to see some of the work he did on it, first hand. I was nice and brought him a red bull to help him out.

very cool opportunity !! maybe this could be another feather in your hat come upselling time. keep us posted!

First off, Very cool and congratts!!

Now my question. When the car appears in magazines, etc., are you going to be able to have it say detailed by you in a caption or something?

:awesome: YOU DA MAN!!!:awesome: Thats great, now that you're going "BIG TIME". I assume you're forget about us?

Looks like the owner's added about 500lbs to the car already just in wires! That's some serious guage there.

Congrats Justin. Sounds like an awesome project. I am sure you are honored to get a job like that...Way to go..:applause::applause:

In some. Not many. I do get to go to some shows to maintain it's look for them. All expense paid!

Congrats Justin and well deserved. Your efforts and knowledge are now paying off. We may all be saying in the near future, "I Knew Him When". Good Luck with this very impotent detail. I look forward to the end results.

That's a huge project, Justin! I've heard of Dynamat being very expensive, but never thought it's going to be $4k+ to do a car...

Congrats, Justin!
You're definitely the man.
I bet when he is rich and famous, he won't remember us....
at not me. And Nica. (ROFL) sorry.

Congrats. Justin, you clearly rock!!!
(What happened to our XMT trade, btw???)
