Proper ratio of Chemical Guys CWS

Hey everyone i am planning to use collinite 845 on my car, last time i applied 845 was in oct 2012. So what is the ratio of Chemical Guys Citrus Glass & Wash i need to use to strip old 845? Or do i even need to use CGCWS? What if i just use Maxi Suds 2 since by now old 845 is already gone ?

Please specify the ratio to use to strip CGCWS for this foam cannon: Foam Cannon | touchless car wash pressure washer foam gun | Auto Obsessed

and for regular two bucket method.

Also ratio for non stripping and use CGCWS as regular car wash.

I can help with bucket ratios but not the foam cannon

I use 15L of water generally in my wash bucket

Strip 128:1 - 116mls
Regular 512:1 - 29mls

If you really wanna strip any wax, use a chemical paint cleaner or mechanical polish. I have see multiple Dawn washes not remove 845.

but its been good 9 months since i applied two coats of collinite 845. I dont see any beading and am sure its gone by now so do i need to perform this wax stripping step? or just use a regular car wash before i applied 845 again?
 
On the chart the first column under the letters is the ratio set on the foamaster. Under that the OZ is the amount of liquid from the container sprayed per gallon. Non stripping is the amount of soap you add to the container for each set ratio to not strip wash only wash. The stripping is the amount you add to the container for each ratio to remove wax.
The larger the vehicle is the higher of a ratio you would use, that in turn uses less from the container so you have to add more concentrate to keep the amount used the same.

After 9 months I highly suggest a claying and at the very least a paintwork cleanser. This will get rid of old wax layers and any contaminants allowing the fresh wax to bong properly thus giving you it's best performance.


On the other hand....... just a wash and wax is better than no wax at all.
 
If it strips at a 128:1 ratio and you are using a 32oz foam cannon that means you will need 0.2oz and the rest water. Just dump 2oz of cgw in there and let it dwell

by paintwork cleanser ... would some like Griot's Paint Prep would work?
