Proper Touch Up Paint Use

I have a small chip on my new car. I just got touch up paint from the dealership. The clear coat is nicked and some paint taken off thanks to my gravel driveway. There is no indentations or anything like that. To get the absolute best results, how should I use the touch up pen? What is the dry time? Ford doesn't give any directions on the bottle and I'd like to get it as perfect as possible.

I would suggest the Lanka paint repair kit AG has to offer, dry time sould be anywhere from 2 hours to 18hours.
