Yesterday, I finally got to use the GG 6" polisher I bought back in October for the first time. After polishing my wife's hood, I was cleaning the pad on the fly, like Mike demonstrated, but the wind blew the towel back into the buffer and it got wrapped around the shaft. Needless to say, about 1/2 second later (almost literally), the shaft sheared. Called Griots this morning and they said they would exchange it for me.

I can't speak for the other polisher companies, but Griots might not be the most powerful, but I will continue to recommend them to anyone because of their customer service!

For over ten years I've found Griot's products and customer service to be top-notch. I've never found anything of theirs to be defective but any questions I've had were answered quickly. First class company.

I have been really wanting the Griots polisher and now I only want it even more. That's great of them and you.

Good to hear

That`s awesome!!! I used to have primarily Griot`s chemicals. Their customer service is top notch. I love my GG units.

Good to as I just purchased their 6 inch from the daylight sale.

Wonder how it compares to the PC 7424xp:buffing:

At least they didn't say" I say, I say go away boy you bother me.

Well, good for them, but when you sell a machine that cost less than $30 to make, you can afford to have a really really good lifetime warranty. L.L. Bean built an empire that way.

I have both. It is much more powerful, but has a little more vibration. I use it with 5.5" pads and the PC with 4" to do almost any part of my cars.

My 6"GG is busted and I think my 3" one is going to break soon. What's their phone #? I need to call them about my polishers.

What is/was teh daylight sale? I have been waiting for the time (cheapest time) to buy a griots 6" da polisher.

Are there any tips on how to get the best price for the new polisher? I need a 5" backing plate and pads also. This is my first foray into da polishers.
