Hi guys, I'm looking to add some new equipment and wanted some input from pro's who use theirs a lot, both mobile and non mobile.

Pressure washer. I have a 3k PSI gas unit, but it is far too cumbersome to use mobile all the time. What would you guys recommend for medium/heavy duty use electric in the $300- range?

Vacuum - I have a really nice shop-vac, but it is starting to get a little rough around the edges. Have trouble starting it sometimes. I currently have:

Shop-Vac Professional Stainless Steel 12 Gallon Portable Vacuum, garage vac, wet dry vacuum

But am interested in:

Metro Commerical Series Full Size Vac N' Blo 4.0 HP Vacuum

Is this thing worth the bucks? Keep in mind I'm going to be doing less rinseless washing this year, and combined with Hydro2(thanks Todd, due to your praise of this product I'm going to start using it) I'm going to be using it for drying as well.

Cold Water extractor - I mainly use steam but want an extractor for more stubborn interiors that need extraction. I used to have a Mytee Lite II. I liked the unit and it worked well but the service was a nightmare. It seems like a Mytee Tempo would be perfect for what I'm wanting, but it gives me chills thinking of having to deal with Mytee's CS again if something went wrong with it.

Thoughts would be appreciated!! :xyxthumbs:

I use an AR Blue Clean electric...1900 psi w/foam cannon...nice combo...no issues....The vacuum issue...both are great machines...metro has more hose and attachments at purchase, Shop Vac has 2 1/2 more HP. I use both...be use the shop vac more lately...I have a Mytee CE...have not had any issues...only heard about the problems some have with service....hope this helps

Love my Metro vac n blo. I think the numbers are lik 93 inches of water lift compared to my ridgeds 80 but the suction is night and day. Couple with the turbo brush attachment this thing will zip thru hair and sand. BIG TIME SAVER. Plus cleaning out my shop vans filter is way disgusting, I'm a big fan of the bag vac. I can easily get 15-20 cars on one bag, more if I air purge first.

I may be slow, but I do poor work.

For an extractor, what about the cleanfreak 3 gallon unit? It's got only a 55 psi pump, but like 100" of water lift. 5 year warranty I think

Glad I could help Mark what friends are for and I sent you a PM.

Pressure washer - I use a Karcher X-Series. I can not say enough great things about this unit! It is only 2000 psi, but I have not found myself needing anything more than that. Another good feature on these units is they can draw from a standing source of water, such as a tank, without needing another pump.

If you go to karcher's website, you can browse all their models, but below is the one I have.

That is interesting. Have you ever ran it off a standing source of water or un pressurized tank? I have a 65 gal water tank in the bed of ky truck and if I could run it straight off the hose that would be really nice. Thanks for the advice so far everyone! I am definitely looking into the pressure washer and extractor. Going to hold off on vacuum until I see some more reviews.

I have. I have hooked mine up to a 50 gallon, standing, unpressurized tank. It drew just fine. I believe there are some youtube videos of people demonstrating this as well.
