Ok, I used search function for protection on matte black rims and couldnt find any threads on it. I just purchased some matte black rims for my 14 Jeep, before I mount the tires I would like to throw some sort of protection on them. What does everyone suggest for matte black?

Coat them. You can coat them with minimal change in appearance, but major change in cleaning ease.

Nanolex and Dr. Beasely's, for example,
have products specifically for matte surfaces.

How about using ceramic pro on my matte black rims??

Use something that design for wheel like PBL wheel coating.
I would hesitate to use some coating brand that advertise to make 9 layers :p

A paint coating would be your best bet. Since all coatings are clear, it will dry clear and only show the matte black paint and yet will give you the protection your after.

I just got my new matte black wheels last week and coated them with opti-gloss coat

Has anyone tried the carpro Hydro2 on there matte rims? I just put some black fuel krank matte rims on my truck and am trying to figure out what to put on them to protect the rims. I talked to fuel and they just recommend washing them with a regular car wash soap, and didn't recommend putting anything on them.
