why dont you try compounding it out or wet sanding the surface even try using a water spot remover,hopes this helps

I'm really curious...what is in those drinks? Especially for them to cause that kinda damage.

That 'line' looks a lot like when an air crewman 'hurled' out the door and it really stained the painted aluminum along the side.
