How many Autogeek members work in public safety (Fire/police/EMS)?

Post if you are and where here...

I am a Sergeant with San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department in Southern California. In April I will have 23 years on.

Detailing was a way to get my mind off of my "real" job! Needless to say, I have the cleanest, shiniest patrol unit in the fleet!!

I am not a cop, but I play one in the Army. LOL Does Military Police count?

Starting the police academy on the 24th of this month!

I'm the Sheriff in my household!! j/k

I used to work as a Res. Officer for my city. Loved it, and I want to get back into it!

:xyxthumbs:

I suppose I should post my affiliations...

30 year career firefighter, presently hold the rank of Deputy Fire Chief for the City of Marlborough, MA FD, commander of Group 3. I am also the Department's PIO and grant writer.

I also work per diem in the support services division of the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy... there I am one of the "grunts"... driving fire apparatus, setting up and igniting fires in the burn building, etc.

I also work per diem for Marlborough Hudson Ambulance Service.

Congrats, Matt. Good luck to you. When you're starting your 1st day, I'll be starting my 1st day of DTAC (defensive tactics and arrest control) instructor school. It's basically Krav Maga.

That's awesome. I'd love to learn some of that - maybe when I have more free time after the academy. :)
