Nope-- not saying that at all. Most body shops dont finish primer with 800G-- they finish with more like 320 or @ best 400. High $ custom paint work or folks that do it them selves might sand the primer with 800G-- but the over whelming vast majority of body & paint shops will be using 320 on the primer. Remember-- we are talking about the primer.Are you saying if they sanded the primer with 800g and then shot the base color coat and then the clear, you would see the sanding marks from sanding the primer?
