Seeing as most waxes are hybrids, carnauba+synthetic polymers(for increased durability), I was wondering which waxes offer no polymers, just carnauba and oils etc and listed them below. If anyone knows of any others please list them.

Pinnacle Souveran
Multiple Dodo Juice
P21S 100% Carnauba

Is that it?

Hi Zubair

This is one of my favorite topics, carnauba wax!! 1st off, I do not like the Hybrid waxes as to me...they are missing some of the wet look and depth. I tried 2 very well known hybrids and donated them to AGO members.

As for carnauba waxes, I do believe it cannot be 100% pure. There will be an ingredient or 2 to make the wax pliable as carnauba wax is very hard.

That being said, IMO Pinnacle Souveran is a great wax. I have used Dodo Juice Supernatural wax too. Both are excellent! As for the P21S 100% Carnauba, I cannot comment as I have not used it before, HOWEVER, Santa sent me a jar. Just waiting for it from AGO shipping.

Either way, IMO you can't go wrong with the 3 you mentioned. As for longevity my assumption is that they will not last as long as a hybrid or sealant but who cares!!! I enjoy waxing so it does not matter.

But to get the best wet look, gloss, and depth you cannot beat a good carnauba wax.

Thanks, also, are all Dodo Juice pure waxes?(apart from supernatural hybrid and the ones with pro in the label).

Would be nice to have a single jar of something thats not too expensive without polymers and compare it to the rest of my lsp's. I think Dodo Juice Rain Forest Rub and Hard Candy are viable options but difficult finding opinions from those that have used them.

For a comparable price point to Dodo Juice you may want to consider Pinnacle Signature Carnauba Wax. It's about the same price as the Dodo Juice Rain Forest or Hard Candy.

The P21S 100% Carnauba is a viable option too. IMO, you can't go wrong with any of the waxes you mentioned.....choosing is the most difficult!

Any one of those you will pick is a solid choice.

I'm almost positive Collinite 915 has zero polymers and is my favorite.

Why do you want one of these "pure" waxes?

I have many lsp's and am making a list of products to purchase soon as one of my best friends is a commercial airline pilot who flies to New York regularly so I can get away with shipping fees which is huge and instead of spending on shipping can use that budget for more product. AG has free shipping within USA for purchases over $95 and I'm sure they can mark it to his attention and ship it to his hotel. No customs/duties either for him when he lands back in South Africa. But I digress, I donot own a single lsp without polymers and would like to see the finish I get with it :)

915 is my absolute fave and it has earned that spot purely on merit. While it has massive amount of carnauba it also contains polymers. I am so impressed with 915 that I have chatted to Mike Taylor from Collinite about it. It is absolutely brilliant and I donot have enough good things to say about it, it really is a detailing treasure of note.

Not sure your going to see the difference since 90% of the gloss comes from the prep. YMMV

I believe most Zymol waxes are free from most "synthetics".

Look into Sonax wax and P21S 100% carnauba wax. They have no polymers. I have Sonax (just got it) and reading its ingredients. All carnauba wax 100%. This is from its brochure:

The Sonax PremiumClass CarnaubaCare consists of 100% unbleached and ecologically certified "Grade One" Carnauba Wax which is extracted exclusively from the young leaves of the Brazilian carnauba palm "Copernicia Cerifera".

No polymers as you do not want it.

Which one of those 3 do you like best?

Thanks guys will consider your recommendations , as for Victoria Red, AG does not stock those, prefer a one stop shop. As for which one of the three mentioned I would choose, Souveran as it seems to have a cult following here. But I am also looking at Dodo Juice's offerings but they market like Chemical Guys with over the top claims and a product set thats all over the place which actually cheapens it. Take Pinnacle and Collinite for eg. Have a look at their lsp offerings, no contradictions or overlapping, very appealing and classy. Being on the business side of a global IT product, I am heavily involved in marketing and business development as well so I can siff through hype/bull and spot a brands marketing ploy and product offering overlap. Its good to have choice but its better to be selective.
