My wife even pays attention to what I like to use. So if she sees an email about something I use being on the VIP special, sale, etc, she brings it to my attention.

If only all wifes did that... At least my wife doesn't pressure me for exact numbers every time I get a new box from AG, "I dunno honey it was on BoGo so it was basically free." It probably helps that I earn a 2nd income from detailing though.

The detailing end of my cars is the cheap "modification". Start doing stuff to your drivetrain or suspension system and then see the price jumps haha. Theres not a whole lot I can buy for 200 bucks...

I have spent about $350 this year to get set up. I did not buy a polisher yet. I cannot justify the expense at this time.

My wife gets $100 hair cuts 9 times a year, so I often remind her of this fact. This usually ends the conversation quickly.

I am working toward buying a couple of high end firearms. Now that is an expensive hobby. You can easily spend a couple thousand dollars customizing a Colt .223 M4 carbine. Some of the barrels alone are over a thousand dollars.

it gets easier eventually. its when you start and have nothing, you need EVERYTHING. Eventually, once you got your buffers, pads, a ton of polish and wax and MFs, you just chill back for a bit. Damn I'm glad I got all this stuff before having any women who would nag me about it.
