Putting my badges back

Hey guys

I removed my badge because i wanted to paint it black. Since it was out i decided to do a nice paint correction.I used the megs twins, menz power lock and gave it a coat of wax.

The question is, Do i have to remove the wax before i glue it back? if so what can i use for that ? alcohol?

Im using 3m double sided tape for the badge

Yes! The surface has to be free an clean of any contaminants, so wiping the surface with alcohol would be perfect..
Goodluck! I remember I did that a couple years back..

I was just worried about the badge not sticking properly since the surface is now really smooth!

if you are using 3M double sided tape smooth paint is perfect. Word of caution with that tape you only get one shot to get it right, that stuff adheres really quick and really well.
