Putting together CR Team for Detail Fest Detailer's Cup - Filming on Friday, March 17th

Guess I was tired from SWCA and drive after when I wrote my previous response! I have tickets and hotel for detail fest already so I am planning to be there this year. I would like a chance to be on a team. I am an IDA CD and plan on getting the SV in May.

Being on the standby list is better then no list lol, THANKS Mike it's always a pleasure! Standing By........

You're on the standby list Renaldo and thank for understanding!

Hi Mike! I was an attendee of the Janurary 2016 Competition Ready class and would love the opportunity to work on a car at detail fest!

You're on the team.

Please send me an e-mail with first and last name, cell phone, good e-mail and shirt size.

I am available for a team. I already set to be there anyway. Haven't been on a show yet, IDA CD and will be in your May class finally.

Guy you're the best. I remember when you drove all the way here to attend our Cars & Coffee and you and Bob McKee and I all visited in Bob's office.

I know you've been trying and trying to attend one of our classes held three times a year and every time your schedule gets interrupted. I appreciate anyone that has the character trait of tenacity.

You're on the team.

Please send me an e-mail with first and last name, cell phone, good e-mail and shirt size.

Hey Mike,

I was a part of the Indy Competition Ready class and am IDA SV.

Love to be on another episode and will be attending Detail Fest.

Thanks for considering me.

Thanks for adding your name to this thread. Your reply reads like you were in the class AND on the show we filmed at the Indy Motor Speedway Museum correct?

If so, I'll put your name on the Standby List as I truly do like to get as many NEW people on the show as possible.

Here's some good news... yesterday I watched the rough-cut of the Indianapolis episode and it came out GREAT! As did the two Dusenbergs we detailed for that episode.

I shared the below screenshot from this episode yesterday in this thread,

I'm finalizing the list this Friday morning.

You're on the team Guy. See my previous post.

I am an IDA CD and plan on getting the SV in May.

I'm stopping the SV testing on Monday's following the 3-day competition ready classes. Not enough guys signing up for it to justify the day and the investment on our part.

I'll hold SV testing here at Autogeek on Saturdays not related to the Comp Ready classes.

:)

Mike, I'm ready! Count me in! definitely i want to be part of the team!

A huge greetings from Bogotá colombia South América

So happy to hear you'll be here again for Detail Fest and I'd love to have you on the team.

For those reading this thread, I first met Kristhian Salazar aka Duster Colombia when he attended one of my Meguiar's classes in Irvine, California at Meguiar's Corporate Office in 2009

Here's the link to the write-up for that class

And here's Kristhian and I in the class over 8 years ago...

Every time Kristhian visits the U.S. he stops by Autogeek to visit. Once time he stopped by and pj from Dodo Juice and I were just starting a car detailing project. I asked Kristhian is he wanted to help out and he said "yes"! So we put him to work on one of the many incredible cars that have gone through Autogeek Show Car Garage over the years....

Thanks Mike! Guess I'll do SV another time.

Yes Mike. I was in the Indy episode. Thanks for adding me to the standby list, I'll be happy to help if you need me!

Sorry....

It's just not working to hold the class on a Monday. It would work if more of my students were joining the IDA but many of my students come to the class to learn how to work on their own cars. (cool cars not daily drivers).

So it's not a good use of an entire day.

Hi Barry,

You're on the team!

One of the reasons I create a pictures and comments thread for all my classes is because sooner or later it becomes very valuable. Here's you and me at the Certification Ceremony after your class.

And here's just a few of the cars you were able to train on with the rest of the class including Aaryn from New Zealand.
