No one said the car was going to stay stock. The MX-5 IMHO is a much more fun of an experience than the wheezy AP1/2 S2000.

Another car that I wanna purchase/play with is the MRS too!

This may be around some time soon, and for $25,000, I'd say it's a very reasonable price. + it has 305hp unmodified so there is definitely potential there.

The FR-S will be more like 200~250hp at the crank.

All the press info is stating that they are trying to aim for sub 3000lbs but I doubt this car will be anywhere but near/under the 3200lbs mark with about 200 crank HP from the EJ20. Not only that they switched the name from Toyota FT-86 concept to Scion FR-S.

Interestingly enough, the person that ended up with it found one of my business cards in the ash tray and decided to call me one day. He wanted to get some specifics on the vehicle and told me that it was in good hands.

I think I'm getting used to it. When I washed the car this morning I didn't notice it nearly as much.

When I was in high school I had a friend that had a car like this. He didn't have it long because he blew the motor. Ended up sitting at his dads business our junior and senior year.

If you clicked the link in my previous post, you'll see that Toyota and Yamaha have completely redesigned the Subie EJ20. Only similarities are the Boxer-4 layout.

I can't wait til the production model comes out. It'll definitely be high on my list.
