Hey all,

So I've been reading up on WGUR on various forums and watching a few videos (not many) about this product and had several questions:

1) Does WGUR have some type of glass enhancers? ... if so, are they Synthetic or Carnauba based?

2) Someone mentioned Meguiars D155 leaves an "oily" shine, while WGUR leaves more of a "candy gloss" shine... does anyone know what that might mean?

3) Clay Lube is 1:128oz... Waterless is 0.75:36oz... and Detailer is 1:42oz... if you try to Clay paint with Waterless or Detailer ratio (which is much stronger), will that damage the paint... or just make claying ineffective because it is too slick?

1. Yeah it has gloss enhancers. Not carnauba based. Not sure what they are to be honest (likely synthetic?).

2. Candy gloss-- this is what most synthetic waxes (paint sealants) display, also sometimes referred to as the "Sealant look". Sealants are typically a glassy, bright shine. Think chrome. Waxes (~carnauba) are more often described as deep, wet, warm in nature. In order to make light colored vehicles really "pop", it's often recommended to use a paint sealant. But many people prefer carnauba (wax) on darker colors as it provides a deeper, warmer "glow".

3. The mix ratios are flexible within reason. Too much concentrate- nah, it won't hurt the paint. Probably won't make it ineffective as a clay lube either. I usually mix at the detailer ratio and use it for everything so I don't have to have multiple bottles. It's all good.

Don't get too tied up in the candy gloss vs deep/wet lingo. The Uber simply makes paint a little more glossy than it would be without it. I also find that it enhances beading just a bit. But obviously it doesn't have the longevity of a sealant or wax.

That said, it's a really great product. You should try it ;)
