Question about chrome rim sealant

Hi guys,

I recently purchased a set of 2012 corvette chrome spyder rims for my 07 vette. The rims are still in the box and I figured that I would put a sealant on them before the spring. What is the best sealant to use on these new chrome rims?? I appreciate any feedback you can provide me with!

It's pricey but EXO. I've done my car with it, planning on doing my wheels with it next year when the weather is warm enough
 
I use Rejex on my factory GS chrome wheels. It makes them very slick, and easy to clean off the brake dust.

-Are you going to keep them in the box 'til you mount them in the spring?
(Please don't allow any salt-melting chemicals to come near them!)

-What kind, if any: "paper"...did they come wrapped-in?
Barren or Oiled/Brown-Waxed?

-After making sure the wheels are clean as a hound's tooth...
And making absotively/posilutely that they are: Completely dry (if cleaning was needed)...
Then...If you so desire...You can apply some WG DGPS to both the outer/inner barrels...And:

-Depending on the provided wrapping-paper...
Go to your local art supply-house (like Michael's) and buy some "waxed-paper" that looks like this:



-Wrap/re-wrap them with the appropiate-waxed/oiled paper...
Put 'em back in their boxes...
And keep 'em high-and-dry 'til mounting-season arrives!

One other question I have:
-Did you purchase, or did your set of wheels come with the chromed lug nuts?

If so...I've heard of folks spraying their nuts with WD-40.
-I feel this practice will either:
1. Encourage the wrong type of women to appear at the most awkward of times...Or:
2. Unless completely removed from said nuts...WD-40 will lessen the accuracy when torquing.

What is WG DGPS- Wolf Gang Deep Glaze Paint Sealant 3.0?
 
+ 1 for opti-coat or g techniq wheel armor.

+1 for Opti-coat. I use this on all the wheels I do at this point. Love it.
