Yep it works great, I haven't used water or anything to wet the pad. Just keep the fibers up and pad cleaned after each panel or so.I use fg400 with microfiber cutting and finishing pads all the time. Very quick cut and finishes really nice on most paints. I have used megs buff and shine as well as optimum pads on a rupes. Slow the speed down and use a spritz of water when it starts to dry out.

I did. Keep it at speed 4 or 5. Running it at 6 runs the risk of delaminating. For those of you using FG400 with microfiber pads, are any of you using it on the PC 7424XP?

^I have... here are the results on soft jet black paintFor those of you using FG400 with microfiber pads, are any of you using it on the PC 7424XP?
^This is very possible. Meguiar's recommends a speed of no greater than 4 (on the PC7424XP), however if you use a few pads (allowing them to dry/cool off after each panel) you can use them at much higher speeds and they will last much longer.interesting, there anyone else issue?

You can't tell in that pic, but there was light marring. Was cleaned up with FF4500 on a crimson pad.
