I have a few questions about Mike's newer book.

1. Is the only way to get the updated/extra page version electronically through iTunes?

2. Can it be viewed on any other device besides an iPad?

I'm asking specifically about the updated version. From what I understand, the updated version is only "electronic" and can only be viewed on an iPad (not iMac or iPhone)?

Here are the answers that you are looking for.

1. Yes, This book is available for download on your iPad with iBooks or on your computer with iTunes, available in 51 different iTunes stores.

2. This book can only be viewed using iBooks 3.0 or later on an iPad. iOS 5.1 or later is required. Once Apple releases the new Mavericks operating system, you will be able to view the book on you mac as well using iBooks.

I bought my iPad a few months after they came out. I think Yancy was one of those crazy people you see on the news camped outside a store a couple days before they go on sale chomping on the bit to be one of the first to get an iPad.

I LOVE my iPad.

I bought my son and daughter an iPad and I bought my wife a iPad mini.

Anyone detailing cars for money should own an iPad just to showcase your work amongst other things.

Plus "yes" my book is so much better on the iPad due to the embedded videos, links to video and products plus the quality of the pictures is excellent.

DANG IT MIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't need all this extra convincing today! Now I need an iPad! (Lord knows how many times I pull out my iphone to show case my work..... and zoom in because I need to show something!) I guess Christmas is coming. Maybe Santa Claude will have something under the tree for me this year :dblthumb2:

I have an ipad....guess I will go for it...good salesmanship Mike ..LOL..with macs graphics I am sure it will be stellar...or should I wait and put it on my macbook pro ?

I'd hold off since new generation iPads are due to be announced sometime this month (so all the rumors say) so if you can hold off you won't kick yourself later for buying the old one right before the new one comes out at the same price.
