Question about Nanoskin Autoscrub products

I used the Speedy Towel and liked it but once I purchased the DA pad I was hooked. I 2 bucket wash and without drying I go over it with soap in my spray gun. The nanoskin works up a lather as I go around the vehicle in nothing flat. I run the DA in my right hand and the spray gun with soap in my left hand. I blast the bottom of the DA pad after each section to keep it clean. The baggie test comes out smooth after using this method.

Great thread, thanks everybody as I'm in the learning mode.. Nanoskin in my list of things...

So is the consensus that this does not completely replace clay?

Doesn't make sense to do both to achieve a contaminant free finish.

Kind of need both tools in your tool chest. There are times clay can come in real handy... like you see from this project...

For the car I work on, I prefer the Nanoskin Autoscrub pad for the dual action polisher. AFter you machine decontaminate the paint will feel smooth like a chalk board.

Interesting....

I'll have to try this next time I'm actually going to wash the car in question instead of doing a waterless wash.

Anyone trying this do be careful when using an electric tool around any type of water source or even while you have a bucket or two of water in the area.

I have a little GFI connector/adapter that I use for these types of applications.

:D
