Question about ONR

I've read this about 5 times and still can't figure out what you're trying to say.

I think he was carrying it up to the counter for purchase, but then dropped it between 1 & 16 times and didn't rinse it off. Im the MAN

Quite honestly though, I've never had a problem with the ONR dilution ratios. Myself, perhaps because I have issues, always add just a bit more than recommended. No issue with streaking at all. I wash the panel, use my drying towel, then a gold plush (or similar) to grab the remaining few drops, flip the gold plush & buff.

Works well for me in cool or hot/humid conditions.

(Love the Big Red Sponge idea. That's my first purchase once it f*cking thaws out here). :props:

D155 is my most used but I also use ech2o and I bought cure to mix in now as well

I went through 8 gallon of D115 before transitioned to Ultima. Its cotton candy scent is something else.

That mixture sounds interesting. Going to have to try that myself. Thanks for sharing.

He's talking about D155 not D115. Not sure if you saw that.

Rationale?
Well now that you asked I'm having to rethink it. Your logic on why a QD could or should be usable as rinseless is good. One reason is cost - although this had noting to do with my original response. But if you look at the cost for most QDs it may get more expensive than a rinseless.

Two reasons I thought of: the first is that you're guessing at the dilution. Worst case you use too much of it, but without some testing there's no way to know. Secondly, and more important I think, is the assumption that what makes up all QD composition would also be a decent waterless when diluted. Could be. But there's really no way to know this. It does make sense logically, but why take a chance or every bother when there are good and inexpensive rinseless products available.

I tend to think of most QDs as more like spray wax with some cleaner than a cleaner with some wax. I could be wrong. In my limited experience that's how they tend to behave. I'll add that when I use my rinseless as a QD, it doesn't behave like the typical over-the-counter QD. It looks and feels a lot more like a waterless than a QD. I could be imagining this - I haven't really taken notes or observed carefully.

I've been trying to use as the forum suggestion, about 63ml per liter. But since my car is dark color, I've so many streaks at my panel. Then i switched to Clay lube dilution ratio, thus I've never had any streak again. Also i use it as drying aid and I'm sticking with that until now

Is Wolfgang Uber rinseless available there? For waterless or as a quick detailer, it is superior in looks and feel - gloss & slickness that rivals dedicated products.

As a rinseless, I cannot knock ONR. Still a very solid product.

Never try wolfgang, sorry. But I'm might be try Aquawax next month
