Besides material and about a dozen other variables the consumer will never know about.... CCS pads are not flat; Hydrotechs are flat.
I use both. Hydrotechs for serious correction and polishing.. CCS pads for maintenance to not-so-serious corrections.
Hello, and sorry to bother on Sunday

I hope that maybe you could help me with your knowledge. I'm ordering right now from Autogeek.net 7424 XP dual action orbital polisher. Could you please suggest which pads do I need and which are the best hook and loop backing plates? I saw that comparison chart, but looks like I am ordering the same pads but from different brands. Because I ordering foam and wool pads , but I started to compare they both does the same thing, depending of color of course
Which ones would be better?
I am going to use just for my car, which is only month old, and has a marble white pearl tricoat paint. I am going to wash, clay , polish, and coat the paint , windows and wheels , and then apply the Pinnacle Black Label Synergy wax. Then of course put some wax from time to time. My paint is good condition, just has some water spots , and some places very light swirl marks some places, I have every product what's needed to do this , mostly from Black Label coating ,polishing ,water spot removal and from DP glass restorer surface cleansing polish , clay, lubricant, wheel cleaners, coating all kind of towels (the best ones) from Autogeek, spent around 1000$

)Also going to get a foam gun as well, and spray foam before washing.
What do you think what kind pads are needed ? And do I need 3" pads as well?
Also what about those waffle buffing and polishing? And wool or foam? And those microfiber bonnets? Or better the microfiber polishing pads? And the foamed wool bugging polishing? It's for the final buffing to make the wax shine?
I live in South Florida, where is always hot and after rain, the water drops dry up very fast , besides I live by the ocean , where wind brings a lot of sand, and it's very humid here.
Sorry about those huge questions, but I am like kid in candy store that I would buy anything, just don't want to buy what's not needed and different brands who does the same job.
Thank you so much in advance.
If anyone else could hive some suggestions would greatly appreciate.
Thanks again.
