Question about sealant and customers

For those of you that detail other people's vehicles, how do you handle a client that wants sealant? If the cure-time is 24 hours, how do you convince that client to not do anything that will mess up the sealant?

I'm guessing said client is educated about the curing? I'm also guessing that sealant isn't really offered to someone with a daily driver?
 
I use a sealant on every vehicle I do. The exception being topping the sealant with a carnuba. The daily driver would especially be a candidate for a sealant bc of durability! The sealants I use have a 12 hour cure time. I explain to the customer what will affect the cure time. After they take possession of the vehicle, and I have told them what to do/ not to do, its totally on them at that point.

if you use the 601/501 or 601/105 combos then the cure time is very short
 
Looking at the forecast is very helpful. If you know a client has to have their car in the wet weather, you will have to use a Nuba or something that will cure b4 the weather takes hold. Other wise, if you just detailed a car, I highly doubt a client is gonna hose it down after they just paid you to detail their vehicle.
 
UPGP cures in 45 min - I give it 12 hours, but Ultima says more coats can go on in 45...

Educating the customer is your responsibility and they really appreciate you taking the time so that their hard earned cash goes a little further. Customers like honesty and integrity...
 
Thanks! I don't really have any plans to do anyone's vehicle but as I was working on my last night, that thought came to mind.
