I will be doing a wash n wax on a Honda S2000, and I'm wondering if I should do anything else with the soft top besides washing it with car shampoo. I've never washed a car with a soft top so I'm just wondering.

Clean and top with 303 High Tech Fabric Guard if you have it.

I use 303 Vinyl top cleaner and then protectant. If you dont clean and dress correctly, the top will seem grayish and will NOT look black.

using your car soap is okay...but make sure to rinse thouroughly...if anything cleaners made specifically for convertible tops are better...but no harm done if you dont...the more important step is to dress it with 303 protectant....

use a soft brush versus towel when washing to avoid lint transfer.

I didnt recognize you w your new avatar!

Thanks guys! I'm in a money pinch right now, but I'll make sure I rinse the top thoroughly. Should I worry about drying it thoroughly?

lol, you should know his car no matter what!

I found RaggTop's Cleaner and Protectant to be an awesome duo. Look into this stuff, its exactly what you're looking for.

AIght thanks :D

The RaggTopp make's the top look much richer.
I try to give it 2 coats, but that's because it's my wife's and I like to eat good food.

Has anyone used both RaggTopp and 303? If so, which one do you think is better?
