Question about, uh, interiors and smells?

I definitely got it all cleaned up. Went through 2 cans of armorall foam upholstery cleaner, got in all the nooks and cranies. But if I park the car outside on a hot day when I open the door you know for sure that there was an accident in there. Hence my locking on to the enzyme stuff. Also does anyone have any experience with the dakota odor bomb? Any good?

I used to be half owner of a MLM company, and one of the products we sold a lot of was zeolite. (Clinoptilolite is a zeolite).

Zeolite is a volcanic rock found in certain parts of the world. In powdered form, it did wonders on cat urine, dog urine, etc. Completely removed the smells. I still have some and we use it occasionally.

Some of the chemicals are hard to get but here is a link to patents that deal with smells, and things like vomit.

The large and very good detail shop I trained with used paint thinner... on almost everything. Been in business for years and I've tried the PT trick it a few times. Kills everything and will clean any stain out of any carpet. Haven't had a single problem come up yet, plus super cheap.

Ironic, but I just dealt with this same situation a few months ago and had great success. Someone vomited in the back seat of my car (and I mean everywhere in the back seat). The vomit unfortunately seeped into nearly every crevice/crack, etc. there was back there. Despite me doing my best to quickly clean it up at 6 AM, the car still smelled horribly. I cleaned it again with APC, carpet cleaner, etc. but the smell still remained. I was certain I had done the best I could without actually removing all of the upholstery and hardware from inside the car. As a last resort, I ordered the unscented version of the Dakota Odor bomb. I set it inside the car and set the tab to empty the entire can. I left the car closed up for several hours per the directions and once aired out, the smell was gone and has not returned. I would strongly suggest that you get the Dakota Odor Bomb and use it, it was well worth the price in my opinion. :xyxthumbs:
 
I had to clean out a barfmobile and used the enzyme cleaner, Folex, steam, lots of rinsing with fresh warm water. Then I put an ozone generator for a few hours. Got rid of the smell.

The scene in that car (actually a minivan) reminded me of this.

Awesome tips guys. I think ill try the odor bomb or gas generator thingy.
