Question about Xpel Ultimate

I have a detail coming up this next week where a customer has a new 2014 Corvette with Xpel Ultimate clear bra. My question is, is it ok to use an APC and IronX on Xpel? I will be topping it with Opti-Coat 2.0. Also can Opti-Coat be topped with Gtechniq C2V3 shortly after, lets say 1 hour, or do I need to wait a month?
 
Yes to everything except the C2v3

If you want to use C2v3 my suggestion is go with EXO over OC or even better do C1 and EXO. Then after washes you can add a sprits of C2v3

I have done many coatings with Xpel Ultimate and I have done my personal car with C1 and EXO and I will tell you the the GTechniq combo is 10 times better than OC

Exo over OC?

Will it properly bond?
 
I'm testing that as we speak.

I meant EXO instead of OC or the c1 EXO instead of OC

If the top coat is an automotive grade clear coat then contamination should and will build up on the surface. How does one go about removing such contamination if claying can not be performed on the film?

Why in the World would a brand new XPel Ultimate PPF installation need clayed to begin with?

Consider that:
Just as clay will always leave its marring-mark
on CC-paint...PPF will also be so affected with marring when clayed.

What do you do then...start polishing on the Ultimate PPF's top coat urethane film---which at 0.5 mils is ~4 times thinner/less thick than an automotive CC paint film.

How long will the self-healing element of the XPel Ultimate PPF last if faced with this abrasive approach?

Will the 10 year warranty be compromised?

The Xpel is around 8 months old and has only been washed 5 times.
