I would recommend you the Gtech Wheel Armor,very easy to use,very easy to clean and definitely keeps the wheels cleaner for longer. Very nice look too,it gives something to the finish.

That's a good way to get even coverage, but I would use a mask when spraying a nano coating. Not enough research on the dangers and I'm no scientist, but anything that can get into your lungs can't be good.
I have similar style wheels except they are painted, and on a daily driven car. I put OC 2.0 on two of the wheels for a comparison as far as ease of clean-up and whatnot.
After about 3 months of driving the OC was completely gone. Cleaning was done using a Daytona Speedmaster brush, and a few different wheel cleaners including Megs all-wheel cleaner, CarPro Iron X, and Griots HD wheel cleaner.
