Is there any issue using something like PB Black Hole before using FK1000P? I've read no, but thought I'd ask here. If the answer is yes, any other thoughts on prep?

Thanks

I used PB white diamond on my car prior to 1000P. A day or so later it rained very heavily and I was left with zero sheeting or beading. So much for "locking in the glaze". I reapplied 1000p to the now squeeky clean surface and it's held up beautifully since.
Perhaps Amigo would have yielded better results. I'm sure Black Hole/White Diamond are great products depending on one's situation. For me glazes are just not suited for me and my ungaraged daily driver. Others may have had different experiences.

As read on some other detail posts relating to FK1000p, it doesnt bond all that well to any oily glaze and drastically reduces its durability...

Fk1000 p = cement nothing fun about it.

I love everything about it. Durability, looks, ease of application (I like the economy and enjoy the therapeutic component of a paste). Stellar wheel sealant as well.

FK1000 is huge in the UK because of the weather and other lousy weather places. In the states not so much.

•If I were to apply a glaze before applying FK1000p...
-I'd probably use this one:

•And you do know that FK1000p is a mold release Wax?
-It has found its way in becoming a darn good automotive Wax!

•Meguiar's also has mold release Waxes:
-I've heard of some people trying these as auto Waxes?
