Question on Uber RW/WW dilution ratios

So looking at Wolfgang's website I see there are multiple ways to dilute it for whatever reason needed, cool.

This is what I'm confused on.

When I do a RW, I use 3 gallons which is at 1oz uber to 3gal of water.

But the detail spray says to use 3oz to 1 gal of water.

That's a lot more concentration of Uber in that than the RW.

Should I be upping the amount when I do RWs? Hopefully I didn't scratch the paint to hell by using 1oz to 3 gal of water ...

Thoughts?

I think you are fine with the 1 oz. to 3 gallons of water. The detail and clay lube will intentional be a heavier concentration.

I follow their recommendations and haven't noticed any issues.

Really no reason to up the recommend
amounts for any of Wolfgang Über Rinseless
Wash’s intended purposes, IMO.

There’s often some dilution ratio confusion
with these type of products that, IMO, is
caused by not defining the difference(s), if
there are any, between Waterless-Wash
solutions, and Detail Spray solutions.

Regardless:
I’ll use a Detail Spray solution in a similar
manner as I would a Waterless Wash solution
(and vice-versa): “really wet”.

1.) When you add 3 ounces of Über Rinseless
Wash to a gallon (128 oz.) of water...you’ll wind
up with a net 131 oz. of a Detail Spray solution.

2a.) It takes 1/3 oz. of Über Rinseless Wash mixed
with 15 2/3 oz of Water...in order to get 16 oz. of
a Waterless Wash solution.

2b.) With that being the case, it would take 3oz
of Über Rinseless Wash mixed with 141 oz. of
Water—for a net 144 oz of WW solution:

•That’s pretty daggone close to the dilution ratio
of the above mentioned Detail Spray solution;
-and, also meets my premise regarding the
likelihood of using WW solutions and Detail Spray
solutions interchangeably...wouldn’t you say?

I used 1oz in a 1.5L sprayer for the pre-soak solution.

Crazy to think that little is good enough when the detail spray is waayyyy more concentrated

I think because they know for a quick detailer people will spray much less solution and wipe it, potentially with a dry towel. In a rinseless situation you have more solution on a very wet towel so that's enough lubrication with the recommended dilution ratio.

I use it and never noticed that, reading the label I find it odd the QD ratio's much stronger than the Waterless dilution.

Follow the directions and you will be fine. As I mentioned to you in my PM response, dunk your spray bottle into the rinseless wash solution you make to use as your pre spray. No need to over think it.

-One is @ an 8:1 dilution ratio.
-One is @ an 8 1/6:1 dilution ratio.

•Not that way more concentrated, IMO.
