Hi,

I would like to know if I am waxing my car correctly with the following steps:

1. Mother's pre-wax cleaner (use 2 twice a year)
2. Zymol cleaner wax - I think this is a car polisher
3. Poorboy's EX sealent

Thanks.

im willing to bet that 1 and 2 are very similar and using both really wouldnt give much benefit. I would go with a good wash, a clay bar, some megs scratchX, and than your EX. Assuming your trying to keep this relatively cheap and with no PC.

a sealant wont adhere to a carnauba cleaner wax properly either. I would use the paint cleaner and move directly to the sealant. If not wet enough, add a pure carnauba topper or get Pinnacles Souveran Spray Wax.
